What it Does:

This example shows various loan types selected by year based on information stored in the FileMaker database. Data is automatically displayed via a dashboard using the FileMaker Web Viewer. Information can be a static snapshot from a FileMaker database, or can automatically update using FileMaker Server Advanced.

How it works:

Using FileMaker Server Advanced, and employing the Server Advanced XML connectivity, dashboard data can be automatically updated as it changes in the FileMaker database.

  1. Data is exported from FileMaker.
  2. A dashboard is created and auto-update is enabled via XML connectivity.
  3. Dashboards can be published as Flash, PowerPoint, Word or HTML files and are all fully interactive and viewable via the FileMaker Web Viewer.
  4. The Web Viewer calc can point to a local or a hosted dashboard file.
