Global Routing
What it Does:
This example to displays routing and distance information for a shipping firm that handles tours for bands.
How it works:
It simply hits <www.world-airport-codes.com> with the two airport codes, and they do the rest. A scripted button pulls up a new window with a simple Web Viewer layout, titled with the selected route. There's a calculated URL for the route that is a simple query to a particularly handy website that handles the query directly but also shows the distance as well. There's lots of other useful airport data available there as well.
