- Effective 27th September 2012 all FileMaker 9 version products will no longer be eligible for upgrades, technical support, replacement media, downgrade media and downgrade license keys. You may continue to purchase upgrades until that time directly from FileMaker or from your preferred reseller.
- Volume license customers can convert from FileMaker Server 12 to FileMaker Server 12 Advanced. Learn more.
Education Pricing Eligibility
What are the Education Pricing Terms and Conditions?
In order to be entitled to benefit from the special Education Pricing on the FileMaker Education & Not for Profit Web Store you must be either a registered student and possess a valid student I.D. or you must be engaged as a teacher or lecturer at an education instituition and must require the Product for your own use or for your classes or for research or be a member of a Not for Profit organisation and must require the Product for use in your Not for Profit organisation.
FileMaker is entitled at any time to require that you produce evidence of your entitlement to purchase under this provision. FileMaker reserves the right to cancel your order in its absolute discretion if we should determine that you are not a student, teacher, lecturer, member of a Not for Profit organisation and/or that you do not require the Product for your own use or for teaching, research or Not for Profit organisation purposes. We will inform you if we cancel your order on the above basis. Any payments you have made will be refunded to you. The above terms and conditions are in addition to the general webstore terms and conditions.

FileMaker offers Non-Profit pricing through Volume Licensing only. Non-profit organisations with current proof of 501(c)3 non-profit status are eligible to purchase under the Non-Profit Volume License Agreement (NPVLA). The minimum order quantity for Volume Licensing is 10 licenses. Learn more about Volume Licensing.
Support
All single license products and Volume Licensing orders include help with installation, launch, or reinstallation (not including data recovery) when your hardware configuration meets the minimum system requirements for the software.
Downgrades
FileMaker gives all customers the right to purchase licenses of FileMaker Pro 12 but install an earlier version of FileMaker.
Example #1:
You've purchased 15 FileMaker Pro 12 New (not upgrade) licenses and previously purchased 25 FileMaker Pro 10 licenses. You can install up to 40 licenses of FileMaker Pro - 15 licenses of FileMaker Pro 12 and 25 licenses of FileMaker Pro 10, OR 40 licenses of FileMaker Pro 10, OR any combination of FileMaker Pro 12 licenses (not to exceed 15) and FileMaker Pro 10 licenses.
Example #2:
You've purchased 15 FileMaker Pro 12 Upgrade licenses and previously purchased 25 FileMaker Pro 10 licenses. You can install up to 25 copies of FileMaker Pro of which only 15 can be FileMaker Pro 12.
Licensed users of FileMaker 12 may purchase a copy of FileMaker 10 or 91 media disks.

*The Family Pack Software License Agreement allows you to install and use one copy of the Bento Software on up to a maximum of five (5) Apple-labeled computers at a time as long as those computers are located in the same household and used by persons who occupy that same household. By "household" we mean a person or persons sharing the same housing unit such as a home, apartment, mobile home or condominium. This license does not extend to students who reside at a separate on-campus location or to business or commercial users.
