FileMaker Education and Charity Pricing Policy

FileMaker International actively encourages use of FileMaker products within education institutions, registered charities and related educational bodies. Education/Charity pricing gives the same high quality FileMaker products but at a price which is achievable for these organisations with restrictive budgets.

To qualify for Education/Charity pricing you MUST meet at least one of the following criteria.

• Accredited public or private schools and secondary schools.
• Accredited public or private Universities, Colleges and Community Colleges that grant degrees requiring at least two years of full time matriculation.
• Hospital, libraries, research laboratories and museums wholly owned and operated by the schools above.
• Charities with registered charities numbers

Organisations that DO NOT qualify for Educational/Charity pricing:

• General Hospitals (NHS) and Council
• Non Profit Groups that are not registered Charities
• Non accredited schools
• Military academies that do not offer an academic degree
• National laboratories
• Non Profit organisation with no registered charity number

FileMaker will use a number of resources within the Northern Region (England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, Rep of Ireland, Iceland and South Africa) to confirm your Educational or Charitable status, examples including:

FileMaker International uses a 2 tier pricing policy for Education/Charity and Retail, and do not offer specific Government or NHS pricing.
